Arthur Burrows, Ph.D., Registered Psychologist

Dr. Burrows is a Registered Psychologist in both B.C. and Alberta, specializing in serving First Responders, military, and veterans. In addition to private practice, he has had the opportunity to work in schools, community and medical facilities. Dr. Burrows works with a range of ages from children to adults.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Burrows has been an instructor in the area of psychology, research, assessment, behaviour and education at the college, undergraduate and graduate levels. Dr. Burrows has served as an adviser to various non-profit and governmental organizations in a variety of areas including trauma, ADHD, behaviour, and distance counselling.

                                          Sarah Becker, M.A., R.C.C.

Sarah is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with a longstanding interest in psychology that is evident in both her clinical practice and academic career. She received her Master of Arts degree in Counselling Psychology in 2015 and is currently completing her Ph.D in Counselling Psychology as a doctoral candidate at the University of British Columbia. Her research projects involve the career decision-making processes of Indigenous and immigrant Canadians. Sarah strongly believes that skilled practitioners are lifelong learners, and is continuously looking for new skills, interventions, and approaches to add to her repertoire in order to best meet her client's needs.

Sarah's clinical experience includes practicing at Vancouver Coastal Health's Eating Disorder Program and Simon Fraser University's Health and Counselling Services, where she saw individual clients and conducted and designed support and psychoeducational groups. Sarah has also worked in clinic settings and with the Mood Disorders Association of British Columbia.


When Sarah is not counselling or researching, she is travelling and enjoying B.C.'s beautiful outdoors, whether it is scuba diving, kayaking, skiing, or cooking by the campfire.
